Key Issues

Trish is focused on prioritizing public safety, creating a connected welcoming community, smart growth with citizen participation, and local business support through economic development.

Public Safety Priority

Working to ensure Addison remains a safe place for residents to stay long term, to put down roots with their families and have businesses that thrive.

Helping Our Citizens Make Addison Home

You never get a second chance to make a first impression - which is why we need to connect our residents from the start with welcoming resources and connections.

Addison is at a pivotal point. How can we make the most of opportunities, update our businesses, and attract new business? We have to "Choose Addison" from our patronage to our policies.

Prioritizing Safety Resources

Prioritizing community safety and emergency services are important for all areas of town. In this video Trish discusses how best to do that.

Mitgating Infrastructure Impacts

Since our infrastructure needs updating all at the same time, minimizing the effects on residents and businesses is crucial for success. For example, assigning traffic control officers to help with rush hour times at the Keller Springs lights. Or ensuring businesses have the timeline information needed to create alternative plans for their customers and employees to avoid impacts during construction - especially during festivals or events.

Addison First - Fiscal Responsibility

A focus on how decisions will impact citizens and businesses - ensuring education is provided with an opportunity for engagement before changes are implemented. Since we do not have districts, council must advocate for all areas of town and consider the impact to the cost of living with tax increases as well as making the best use of our available funds to serve what the people need and have asked for in their town.
